after doing 3 loads of laundry, 2 sets of dishes, cleaning my stove, toilet, and both sinks, and vacuuming the carpets, i finally am feeling like my house is a living space again. i’ve been so busy literally since february that i feel like i’ve been treading water as far as general maintenance of my home is concerned. there’s a long way to go yet (painting projects, installing shelves and new light fixtures, going anywhere near the basement) but omg i can breathe again!

Any thoughts on organizing/decluttering your house? I’m a collector of Things and it’s getting out of control! I admire people who are zen and minimalist when it comes to their home but I am the polar opposite. Give me your tips.
